{Dilk}
Steven Dilks, better known for his graffiti tag ‘Dilk’ has been immersed within the world of graffiti and spray paint for the last 25 years. Owner of one of the very few ‘Montana’ spray paint shops in the world Dilk’s is an ambassador of street art.
Dilk, has spent much of his career painting the walls of Nottingham, Madrid, Berlin, Rio, Hong Kong and New York. Highly regarded within the industry he is often asked to panel competitions all over the world and has appeared on ‘Blue Peter’ as well as working for some large corporations all over this country and Spain.
Over the past year he has transfered his style from wall to canvas with breath taking results. All works are sketched and then painted free hand, layer upon layer is built up over time revealing aluminous colours and structure. Each piece carefully considered in a fashion indicative to the original 70’s style of New York street art.
As major players in the art world tip their collectors for a graffiti revival, Dilk’s is leading the way!
