Artist
Erik Salin, painter and sculptor, born in 1960 in Paris. He lives and works in the south of France where his workshop is located. Erik Salin is famous for colourful and exquisitely finished sculptures, adorned with the logos of the world's most luxurious brands.
Salin is heavily influenced by the Pop Art movement. Drawing inspiration from sources in popular and commercial culture, his artistic approach diverts objects from their original context, creating wonderful eye catching art and sculpture.
Salin explores and challenges the rules and flaws of consumer society by integrating advertisements with everyday objects, resulting in modern and glamorous sculptures. His audacious and surprising works reflect the free and unrestrained spirit of the creator.
