Artist
Rich Parker is an expressive portrait painter born in Nottingham in 1971. Since childhood, painting and drawing has been his obsession.
Rich's portraits have an energy and freedom of brushstroke which seeks not to slavishly include every detail moreover to capture the essence of the sitter with minimal brushstrokes.
Primarily working with oil on canvas and generally using large format. Rich uses large brush strokes and vibrant colours for dramatic effect. His work will comfortably sit within domestic spaces as a stunning centrepiece or within any contemporary or commercial space.
Whilst a relatively new artist, Rich has already had several successful exhibitions and is fast gaining momentum as a new and emerging artist.
