Working in acrylics with collage, mark‑making, and image transfer, Rothwell creates powerful, narrative-driven compositions that explore themes of memory, identity, and human connection.

Her silhouetted figures and atmospheric backdrops draw on both her Lancashire upbringing and her background in textiles and digital illustration, resulting in richly layered paintings that invite personal interpretation.
